What a great idea. I just love this quilt so much and when I get my act together I hope to release new baubles for the tree soon too. It's become a staple in my Christmas decorating. Something I really love about seeing how you've made this wall hanging is how you personalized it. Did you see Glenda's at Christmas time? Hers has candles on either side of the tree and that also looked amazing. I am in love with ALL versions. I really love your hanging mistletoe bell there, what a brilliant touch. And your colours just work so well. You'll be loving this quilt for years.

I think the blue bow does work, its really hard when the quilt is so much green and red! I'm sure I would have opted for blue too. Personally my favourite part is the peace dove. I was going to make the whole quilt about the peace dove alone, but some years we have traveled and haven't had time for a tree so I decided to put one in for that reason! It allows me to be lazy at Christmas!

Can I invite you to add this post as a '12 Days' link over on my blog? There's an archive linky for this quilt under the '12 Days' page and I know that quilters who make this in the future will love to see what you did here.

Thanks for blogging about your beautiful work Jenny, its a real inspiration.
